This mural was made possible, in part, by ArtsWestchester Municipal Challenge Grant, funded by Peckham Industries, Inc., Verizon, and Fuji Film, USA Inc., in partnership with the Croton/Cortlandt Center for the Arts, Inc., along with the Town of Ossining. The mural was begun in 2006 and completed in 2007.
The mural consists of three panels, one panel for each of the three parts of the Town of Ossining: The Village of Briarcliff Manor, the Village of Ossining, and the Town of Ossining. I chose to frame the scenes with arches to represent the Croton Aquaduct which runs through the Town, and he stonework references Ossining granite.
