Moon Rise and Sunlight Glow

Late afternoon. The sun kisses the mountains while the moon rises. One of the concepts in Asian Art is how space is used in the artwork. The space around the subject is as important. There is a balance formed between them. I created this painting with this in mind, keeping the lower left very open, in contrast to the other areas of the piece. In the end, I decided to add the two ducks. I have often seen ducks swimming along this shoreline.
This watercolor is painted on Lanaquarelle 300 lb cold press paper, and is archivally framed. The framed size is 30 x 36.75 inches.
