The place where land and water meet has long intrigued me. It is a place where plants and creatures have evolved to live in a habitat where change occurs on a cyclical basis. I find the subtle shifts of color and the patterns carved by wind and water to be of great inspiration to me as an artist. I also paint these scenes because of their importance to the environment.
